Voyage au bout de la nuit

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

a freelance photo-reporter experience :
I went on a US boarder Patrol boat on the way to rescue Cuban boat-people in the golf of Mexico.

The most funny is that at that time, I wasn't accredited or assigned by any media.
I just shown them a fax, not even a fake press card and they let me get into the US military base. :-)

Then, The most amazing : when the US patrol transfered the cubans (that were badly deriving into the sea without water under a burning sun) to a bigger boat on the way to the Guantanamo's military base in Cuba, the soldier in charge thought that I was one of the refugees. So, I almost found myself in Guantanamo... untill I remebered that my rental car was parked in Key west (Florida) !!!
So, I didn't make it happen but the adventure could have been exceptional !!
At that time, I was a little bit younger and much more crazy than now :-)
