Hello!

It's weird to write about yourself isn't? cause my perception of who I am or what defines me changes everyday. Why don't I share a little bit about how I see the world and you can make your assumptions about me? Cause in the end I'm not defined by anything, only by what I represent to others and whatever you think about me will bring out the person you choose to be with me anyway! :)

I will give some background so you can begin to make an idea of a person in your mind. I was born in the U.S but I grew up in Mexico till I was 21 and then I moved back to the U.S. First to El Paso tx, then, to Los Angeles for work.

After working for a while I started traveling and exploring this beautiful paradise we call earth in search of something else and now I'm on the road indefinitely and something tells me to continue on this road. Searching for what? I don't know, how could I describe it? I wouldn't know either. I just know when I find it deep inside, something that feels so visceral and so true that it shakes me to my core every time.

Who will I be when we meet? will I be Jose the incredibly funny guy? or Jose the lighthearted calming person? or maybe the sentimental 28 yr old that is looking to find meaning and purpose in his life only to realize that it's been inside him all along? soooo inspirational.

I don't know, I guess we'll have to find out by me staying at your couch. All I can offer is an open heart, a listening ear and a sincere hug. Who in the world wouldn't like that?

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I get so much out of meeting people. I think it's such a unique and great way to connect with people and be human. To share stories and to see that we really are all the same at the core. I love to get to know people to hear their stories and how they see and think of the world. to put myself in their shoes and really get a sense of what their lives are like.
