I'm Jose Madrid, I lived in California for all my life and I think I'm ready for some change. I'm an artist, mostly sketching and painting portraits. I have a degree and hopefully continue my bachelor's in concept design. I'm a very respectful person, clean, and quiet (at least i like to think so).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because my family doesn't have money and i really wanted to come to New York and make something of my life. A couch to crash I'm would help me so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pop music, but nothing gets me in a good mood like acoustic.

Favorite movies fall from horror (The Conjuring, Rosemary's Baby) to Indie/Foreign (Life of Pi, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly). If it has great story and great cinematography, I'm pulled in.

Not much of a reader, but I dod love Wuthering Heights, Kindred, and Fun Home.
