About Me

You can normally find me going for a walk with my dogs, going on hikes or doing adventurous things.

Not a fan of crowds unless it is a concert i really wanna go see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that traveling is not only a great way to enjoy life but it is also essential to learn things from other people and cultures.

If i can provide a space for somebody to stay at, share a meal together, a story or giving advice and recommendations, and for that to be a memory in someone's life journey, I would be happy to be a part of it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My place is very convenient if you are just arriving or leaving from the SJO airport the next day! **Keep reading to know why! ;) **

I normally have a guest's room available and a couch.

I am decent at cooking and great at talking, so sharing a meal is almost certainly guaranteed.

I can give you advice or recommendations for your trip :)

***************

I live in San Lorenzo, Heredia province, a town close to the SJO Airport (20-30 min away)

- An Uber to my place is around $4-$6

-Buses are a whole thing here.. If you are staying with me, I will give you the details on how to get here or anywhere by bus.

General information about SJO airport:

-The nomenclature of the airport is meant for San Jose but the airport is located in Alajuela, 45min -1hr away from downtown San Jose. Keep that in mind when you make any traveling arrangements! (it can be misleading i know)

-Airport (orange) taxis are expensive, just outside the airport you can take a bus to downtown San Jose . Take an Uber/Didi if you arrive too late. (People normally compare fares between the 2 apps, Didi can offer much cheaper fares than Uber). I would not recommend any other App.

Other information:

-Most bus stations to Guanacaste, Limon, Puerto Viejo, Manual Antonio, Monteverde (Literally any touristy town) depart from a bus station in downtown San Jose.

-From my place to downtown San Jose, it would take you 2 buses to get there or a $10-15 Uber ride.

Depending on my availability i can pick you up from the airport or drop you off if needed or would feel safer.
