ABOUT ME

I was born in Choco, in the colombian pacific coastal region. I moved to Bogota to pursue my BA in Political Science at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2012). After a short time living in Medellin, where I worked in a centre for urban studies, I went to the Uk for studying my MA in Latin American Studies at Newcastle University (2014).

I consider myself easygoing, respecful, fun, open-minded who has a great passion for great food, music, dance, and culture.

I run with some other colleagues a non-profit think-do tank in urban sustainability, that we founded in 2011 based in Colombia (www.laciudadverde.co)

Nací en Choco, departamento de la costa pacífica colombiana. Me mudé a Bogotá para estudiar mi carrera de Ciencia Política en la Universidad Javeriana (2012). Luego de vivir por un periodo corto en Medellin, donde trabaje en un centro de estudios urbanos, me fui a Inglaterra a hacer mi Maestría en Estudios Latinoamericanos de la Universidad de Newcastle (2014).

Me considero amable, respetuoso, divertido, de mente abierta y con gran pasión por la comida, musica, el baile y las culturas.

Con un grupo de colegas dirigimos una organización donde promovemos la sostenibilidad urbana, se llama La Ciudad Verde y desde 2011 realizamos actividades e iniciativas en pro de mejores ciudades.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Puedo hospedar viajeros, conocer personas que estén viajando por la ciudad, participar en las actividades de CS. Pero sobretodo en la forma como las personas me necesiten.

I can host travelers, meet people traveling in the city, taking part of CS activities. But most importantly, in the way people need me.

He conocido a algunas personas que tienen un papel muy activo en CouchSurfing, tanto hospedadores como viajeros.
