HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to share a meal with a couch surfer, if I was surfing I would do the dishes in return. I'm offering a safe warm dry place to sleep, use of the bathroom and a bit of conversation (but not too much don't worry, I'm happy to leave guests do their thing)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the couchsurfers Ive met have been really open and sharing , have always made my life that bit more interesting.

I started up this profile with my friend Myriam we hosted together while living in Limerick.
It's been a while (pre 2014) since I hosted but I think the world is ready to trust strangers again so I'm back on board.

I'd like to use cs myself to travel with my daughter, hotels are gone so expensive I think it's sad that would put you off travelling. Travelling shouldn't exclusive to those who can't afford it. It's a nice way for solo travellers to have a bit of company and have a local's guide to a new place.

When I surfed I never had a bad experience, the whole cs thing is based on trust and I always respect that. When I surfed I would contribute to the household in a small way if I could, bringing some treats or buying my hosts a drink if we went out.
