About Me
Hello, name is Josef! I'm an Assyrian born and raised in Stockholm. I've been working abroad in both Bulgaria and Malta and now I'm currently studying IT in Malmö.
Ever daydreamed and been nicknamed "The Philosopher"? I catch myself daydreaming a bit (if you're on the ADHD-spectrum you'd easily relate haha--), which makes other people perceive me as a bit reserved. Though, once they get to know me, people will tell that I am up for most activities and love engage people and ask questions!
Used to be an avid manga reader, now I just want to try a lot of new activities. So I've been trying to broad my view by signing up for Meetup events (definitely recommended!) and various courses. The newest addition in my life was dancing salsa!... but I didn't have the patience to persevere through the whole course haha! It was still an exciting opportunity and I'll definitely get back to some kind of dancing soon.
I am also currently trying to cultivate Chili pepper (as well as avocado) because it's been a long time since I grew my own stuff. One last thing I could mention is that I am studying Information Architecture. It's how to present and organize a lot of information on websites in meaningful ways. But it is also tied to programming and I don't have the greatest motivation for that.. so that is why I got an Arduino-starting kit to try and make cool programming projects. Programming in a "physical" way just sounds...more interesting :)!
Cheers,
Josef.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I guess I've been lucky with finding and being around great company! What I mean is that thrice I've moved to a new city/country (without knowing anyone) to start a new chapter in my life, and thrice I've had people make me feel at ease and at home the first weeks. You know, helping me settle down. Coachsurfing feels like the kind of place that holds those kind of special and cool people! I am currently happy and content with living in Malmö and won't move for a while. So to me couchsurfing will hopefully mean that I can find new friends to hang out with and have a place to stay at as a bonus.
