Working as a mechanical engineer. Beeing able to work with something I have a passion for is very important to me, as well as always beeing able to travel, preferably by bike, to new places and meet new people.

ABOUT ME

My name is Josefine. I am 27 years old and come from Oslo, Norway. I love learning new languages and visiting new places!

I am a mechanical engineer, bike mechanic, bikepacker, beer brewer, adventurer.

I travelled though western Europe by bicycle, with two friends in 2011. At later times i have bicycled from Oslo to Gothemburg and along the shore of Norway, to Bergen, twice. Last summer i biked for 10 weeks alone through eastern Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment i have surfed five times. Twice in Denmark, and once in Finland, the Netherlands and Germany. All were great experiences, with wonderfull people I really hope to meet again some day!

I've also met some cool people through the hangout app, when I was travelling alone.

Interessi

I love being outside. I take long walks in the city and it's surroundings almost every day. And bikepacking! I ride my bike in all kind of weather, i love fixing bikes and camping in nature. And I of course love swimming! When I'm on my bike travels and the weather is nice, I sometimes just stop and spend entire days at the beach.

When I have the time I cook a lot of vegetarian and vegan food. It's nice to cook both for my self and others. I hope mye guests want to show me some new recipies. I brewed a lot of beer at my workshop in Oslo, and though it's been a while now, I plan on continuing to experiment with new beers.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Bicycling through eastern Europe by myself is the most extraordinary and scary experience of my life. Just having endless time, and meeting so many people I would have never met if I hadn't gone. Being on a bike is always a conversation starter as well. ;)

I will continue travelling by bike, and I will see the whole world some day!
