ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I'm a reliable, loyal, easygoing person. They would say I'm a patient, kind, caring girl. I also have a good sense of humor and I'm a good company for good and bad times. My friends would say I'm always there for them. They would say I'm usually funny and uninhibited, even though, at first, I can be a little shy and quiet. I think they would consider me a good friend, someone you can always count on.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll try anything once. I believe being free is all about letting others be free as well, enjoying each others company without trying to convince others of your own opinions, is respecting one another, tolerating and understanding differences and getting along despite of them.
The following quote will explain it better:
"A freedom which is interested only in denying freedom must be denied. And it is not true that the recognition of the freedom of others limits my own freedom: to be free is not to have the power to do anything you like; it is to be able to surpass the given toward an open future; the existence of others as a freedom defines my situation and is even the condition of my own freedom. I am oppressed if I am thrown into prison, but not if I am kept from throwing my neighbor into prison.” (Simone de Beauvoir, The Ethics of Ambiguity)

Intereses

The creative and new always grabs my attention. I'm really interested in literature, art, movies, music and philosophy. But I like adventure as well, I'm always drawn to something that is challenging and that I've never done before, even though I'm not as quite outdoorsy as I would like to be. But I'm always up for trying new things, for doing anything once...

Algo increíble que he hecho

Spending a month in the Netherlands was an awesome time of my life. I felt incredibly touched when I visited Anne Frank's house and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. I loved the Cheese Fair in Gouda. I loved to walk around Leiden, where I saw the house where Rembrandt was born in and where I saw beautiful Mills. I loved staying in The Hague (Den Haag), studying in the Academy of International Law and visiting the Peace Palace (Vredespalais), where the International Court of Justice is located at.
Another amazing moment of my life happened when I spent a weekend in Paris. I was amazed by the city's architecture and history. I loved visiting the Sacré Couer Church, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, walking around Montmartre and along the River Seine, etcetera...
I also had an amazing time when I was in Buenos Aires. It was great walking along Puerto Madero, staying at San Telmo, visiting the Bombonera (the Stadium of Soccer Team Boca Juniors), walking around Caminito.
And I loved every city I visited in Brazil, as well.

I can share my view about life and freedom, about understanding and getting to know and getting along with people, even though they are different from you, that they don't share your opinions and beliefs. I guess I can share tolerance and belief in freedom. I can also share caring for people, listening and trying to help them.
I can share my knowlegde about philosophy, literature, movies, art and music. I can also share my views about law and society.
I can share my interest in exchanging not only knowlegde but also experiences.
