About Me

Hello! I know my profile is new, I promise I'm normal lol.

I was born in Tokyo, Japan but grew up in upstate New York, near Albany.
I've worked in some oddball jobs but mostly in environmental conservation and emergency management. A lot of the work is seasonal/travel which works out alright because I like travelling and meeting new people!

In my free time I like painting(oil and digital), reading, hiking, brazilian jiu jitsu, and MMA. So if we share some interests please tell me because I love to chat with others over our mutual interests! I also love to learn about other peoples hobbies and dabble in them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of the most interesting and valuable conversations I've had were with people I randomly met while travelling. I think the ephemeral nature of travel brings out the best in people to be willing to open up and connect.
Plus...its free
