About Me

I am a college student studying in Amherst, Massachusetts. I just finished a semester in London, and traveled around Europe. I love meeting new people, and getting new perspectives on life. I love adventuring, and trying new things. I am a small business owner as well.

I lived in southern Spain when I was 17 with a host family, and it was amazing. I loved living with people from the area because you learn infinitely more, and are a part of the native culture. Also, I concluded a month long backpacking trip where I stayed primarily with couchsurfers. I could not have asked for a better experience, with even better people. I still keep in contact with many of them, and was able to get a better feel for each city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting the local perspective, and hanging out with the locals. Also, the locals usually offer a completely new perspective that you sometimes do not find at a hostel, or hotel.

Also, I have been helped out immensely by people on couchsurfing, and would like to have the opportunity to help any travelers in return.

Interests

Snowboarding, reading, drawing, painting, traveling the world. I love meeting new people and hearing all that they and their cultural differences have to offer. I love talking and learning about anything and everything. I find almost everything intriguing so I will talk to you about absolutely everything!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music but country music. Some of my favorite books are On the Road by Kerouac, Huckleberry Finn by Twain, and all Thomas Pynchon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina to help rebuild homes and the devastated community there. I have done many other service projects rebuilding destitute communities in the U.S.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to show anyone tips on drawing, or snowboarding.
