Hi This is Joseph Kim ( Kim, Ju-Hyun in Korean).

I was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea, however, I've had chances to live in different places.
I've lived in 3 different areas for school, went to the U.S. for college, and came back to Korea to do my military service.

I am interested in meeting new people, hanging out and sharing lives with them since I have done it more than 10 years and it's always fresh and amazing to me.

As you can see pictures of me with my families and friends, I love hanging out with lovely people,
and I also value the wisdom from reading books and listening to people, and faith in God.

I can't say my life has been always lovely. It's had ups and downs and I have seen and gone through great and hard things in the schools and army. However, it has been worth it and I'd like to share great things with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I talk about this on "About Me" , I love meeting new people since I've never been tired of experiencing and hearing a whole different stories of various people.

I'm not on Couchsurfing only because of money. I think if money is the main problem that one wants to use this site, the person should re-think about this. I've read lots of travelling books that talk about Couchsurfing and how wonderful the memories are.

I really want to meet up new people and not to just travel in the country but live with the native people and share lives together in the country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There have been too many things that I've done amazing so..(just kidding)

I would say that it is something that I've done and still do now days for more 15 years.
I live with my parents and grand parents (you can see my home pictures).
So it's kind of my job that I go wash dishes, clean bathrooms, and take care of them.
I know it sounds like nothing but doing small things continually like washing dishes every single time and day is not an easy thing ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching what I learned, learning new things, and sharing what I've got.

I can teach Taekwondo, Korean, English (only a little bit), and how to learn a new language.
I'm in interested in learning wisdom from books and people, Japanese, Chinese, Ju-jit-su, and how to have a wonderful girlfriend (kidding).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences and stories from different countries but as if I am served by my host, there are three things that I can do for them.
1. Washing dishes
2. Cleaning bathroom
3. Cooking Korean ramen or teaching something useful in Korea
