Hello, my name is Joseph I'm a Tanzanian American, born in America but raised in Dar es salaam, Tanzania. Im a current University student with hopes of graduating next year!, I was raised in Tanzania and Swahili is my mother tongue. I moved to the United States in 2017 and continued my secondary education there. I love traveling! from a young age my parents fueled my passion of travel by taking me to various places.

My favorite movies include: the breakfast club, The Truman show, lord of the flies, the shinning, and many more specifically comedies

I love listening to music I love music I listen to a lot of music but some of my favorite artists include: Queen, Michael Jackson, Taylor swift, Sza, Tame impala, The 1975, Twenty one pilots, Tommy Ashby, and many more

I moved across the globe alone at the age of 15 from my family to further pursue my education(from Tanzania to United States)

I love to learn different cultures and learn how normal people live day to day. I’m fluent in swahili I can teach you many more than basic phrases like “Jambo” “hakuna matata” maybe I can teach you complex terms such as “nina penda kufundisha”- I love to teach
I can share plenty of funny stories of the things I’ve done I love to share about my life experiences growing up in Africa and going to America later in life has given me lot of funny stories about Americans I’d love to share those stories
