I'm marching to Paris for the demonstrations around the UN Summit on climate change COP21. Climate change is the most important threat to global security with millions of people's lives in danger from floods, droughts and forest fires. It is also a great opportunity to build a more just and equal society.

I am marching down to Paris by a mixture of hiking, hitchhiking and public transport and want to break up the journey.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I organised a village of climate alternatives called Alternatiba Todmorden http://altertod.eu/ . We had over 500 people, 50 organisations and businesses promoting solutions to climate change, 20 talks and workshops about tackling climate change, 20 volunteer stewards, 9 venues in the town centre, two conferences (one videoconference), samba and drums around the town, a street party on Water Street and the music went on until late in different venues.
