i work in a petroleum company deep inside the Algerian desert . I also run a small Asian-food catering business. Cooking is the best way I connect with people. I love hosting, sharing meals, and creating a calm, friendly vibe around me. I also had a brief soap making business that I had to abandon to focus on other projects.

I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely curious about people and their stories. I enjoy simple moments, good conversations, and discovering different cultures through food and everyday life.

If we meet, expect warmth, kindness, and maybe some homemade dumplings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve always been curious about other people’s cultures and traditions. I grow up watching ( Pekin express and j’irai dormir chez vous , French people will know) where a group of people or an individual travels around the world, and they try to live as locals and share the daily life of their hosts. And that’s why I was drawn to Couchsurfing . This app makes travel easier and more accessible, but what truly matters to me is the human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of music , but I think that the 80’s gave us the best in terms of music
I love reading books the hobbit, Lord of the rings ,I’m also a big fan of Dan Brown ( davinci code , inferno... ), And all the books that talks about mysteries , esoteric things and secrets of the ancient world.

I have the same taste for movies ( LOTR trilogy, the hobbit, Harry Potter of course …. )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting one of the seven natural wonders of the world: the beautiful Ha Long Bay and swimming through caves to hidden lagoons . A magical experience.
Wandering in Rome before sunrise, walking through empty streets, and watching the sunrise near the Colosseum.

I can also introduce my guests to my culture, I’ll make you try local food , discover our beautiful wild beaches, maybe hiking if the sun is shining and everything you should see in my city

I love cooking for people, especially the Asian-inspired dishes from my catering work, so sharing a homemade meal is almost guaranteed. I’m always happy to help with local tips, guidance, or anything that can make someone’s stay easier and more enjoyable.
