Overview
About Me
I'm a Biochemistry student at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, but am from the UK. I love to travel and enjoy reading, music, video games and just nice conversation. I tend to favour explorative, rather than competitive sports: I used to go caving (spelunking) when I lived in York and have been scuba diving, climbing etc.
Since I'm living in Denmark at the moment, and my place is a tiny cupboard, I'm not accepting guests right now. :(
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hostels aren't that expensive; I'm on CouchSurfing because it's much more interesting to meet up with local people. It's easier to find things to do and make stories to tell.
Interests
When I travel, I like to see the historical places first. I also have a thing for aquariums and animals in general (I wanted to be a marine biologist or perhaps a vet when I grew up). I'm into unusual architecture, too.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment I'm listening to a lot of video game soundtracks (MGSV, Deus Ex etc.). I live close to the local Opera House too, so I sometimes put on my smartest outfit and pretend to understand what's going on there.
I don't actually watch many movies. I just never seem to sit down and watch one.
Book-wise, I used to read more fiction (Les Miserables, To Kill a Mockingbird etc.) but I read a lot of non-fiction these days.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving over Swakopmund, Namibia was pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love science, from Arduino to zoology, and I read a lot of history. I'm always looking for a better way to get information, since I'm not actually that smart. I taught English to foreign speakers for a few years, and taught fencing/archery at a US summer camp (though it's been a while since I did either).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Almost nothing.
Countries I’ve Lived In
