Hey I'm Joe

I have been on here for a while now both being a traveler and accepting various guests, I really like the connections made. I feel the real way to learn is by pushing boundaries, taking risks and learning by experience! I enjoy sharing everything including knowledge, food, laughter, spaces and good times.

I consider myself very easy going and have no problems having long and deep conversations about life, cuture and travelling. I'm sure if we meet we will most probably connect and have a good laugh.

After being kindly offered so many beds I have taken more than given within the community and I would like to to give something back and have guests stay with me and experience something, I do know what it's like to travel on a budget!

Just a quick note: I will have to politely ask that guests leave the same time I do for work in the mornings (8:30am) as this is the deal I have with my housemates.

If you have read this far great but I don't expect everyone to as you have to write to so many people to get one yes!

I found couchsurfing provides me the link to being able to meet other open minded people from around the world and to be open and sharing.

In my free time I enjoy to do windsurfing, skiing and cycling and I'm willing to try out anything new. I'm very interested in language and culture, I can speak a basic level of French but would like to improve. Other languages I would like to give a go too. I'm very willing share my English culture to anyone interested and love to meet new people from all around the world.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

travelled Asia for 7 months, climbed the Himalayas, cycled 700 miles up north western France sleeping in bushes and couchsurfing/wwoofing, learnt French in France over 8 months, ran into the sea on Boxing day (26th december) dressed as a clown for charity and found couchsufing!
