I don't really have a favourite music genre, it more depends what I'm in the mood for at that time. Sometimes just hitting shuffle and being struck by the slightly odd line-up of reggae, rock, dance and finished off with a nice anime OST song. Comfort movie is definitely Cool Runnings! As for books I'm trying to get more into reading at the moment and have been enjoying books by Haruki Murakami.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I travelled to Swaziland for 2 weeks with my college. It was a trip where we budgeted the group money ourselves, each had a different day at being group leader and directing people for the tasks that day. A chance that gave me a big boost in my confidence and put me in situations I had never been before! Especially since the second week we were there was spent in a local assisting in the building of toilet blocks that would house flushing toilets using a running water source from the mountain the village layed at the base of.
