ABOUT ME

I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I love trying and learning new things (sports, languages, musical instruments) but sadly, my interest tends to wane before I get remotely decent at anything. Still, I like boasting of (i.e. exaggerating) my various accolades - playing the ukuklele, trumpet and violin, tennis, golfing, etc.

Right now, I’m also learning to cook. And consumed by fear of poisoning by uncooked meat, I've turned pretty much pescetarian in the process. (Although I can't turn down a good bockwurst.)

Movies: I love watching anything not in English. I find that just the foreignness of the language is enough to intrigue.

Music: I mostly listen to indie and country rock, oldies and baroque.

Books: Margaret Atwood, Kurt Vonnegut, Kazuo Ishiguro, dystopian novels

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach you my butchered version of Mandarin Chinese, you can teach me something new about where you live. Mostly I just need to know where I can get some good coffee.
