I grew up in the DR Congo and lived in other countries when I was young before I came to the US. I went to UNC Greensboro for my Bachelor's degree and decided stay in Greensboro because I've grown to love this authentic small city feel. I haven't done much traveling since I've been out of college and hope to change that in the future.

I enjoy meeting people, sharing new experiences, exploring new places, finding new inspirations, and learning how to grow things.

Outdoors: hiking, running, the mountains, growing plants, camping and putting away my cell device in order to sock in the natural world.
People: I love collaborating, exchanging ideas and knowledge, preparing and enjoy good meals, listening to stories, music and good conversations.

Learning photography on my own and seeing my skills flourish over the years until I could start up my own business. The experiences I've had while seeing a world of people through my lenses as a wedding and portrait photographer has been an incredible and I've never been so gratified to see something I created come alive.

I LOVE sharing skills and knowledge and learning from others as well. I can teach you how to make Congolese beignets, garlicky hummus, conversational phrases in Lingala, and making water color botanical illustrations. I also enjoy dancing with people!

I enjoy an arrangement of candle lit, wine/crafted beer, conversations and delicious collaborated meal. (We can try a new vegan/vegetarian together!)
