I am Couchsurfing because I love to meet new people in an environment that is native to the country or place I am traveling. I have run an airbnb at my house letting people stay with me in San Diego, CA for 5 years now and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. Learning about others and showing them around my city brings me joy and I want to experience other places the same way.
