About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." -Mark Twain
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I study among my fellow nerds and compatriots. I love science to the point that I worry my future wife may become jealous of our passionate relationship and the beautiful life science and I have built together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I watch too much Travel Channel. Or perhaps just enough for the "know the locals" mantra to sink in.
Interests
So there's science, that much has been made clear. I also thoroughly enjoy running and the vast majority of other sports (especially basketball and ultimate frisbee). I eat copiously and gratefully. I play guitar, piano, violin, and mandolin.

Music, Movies, and Books
My Spotify playlists include: classical, alternative rock, indie folk, jazz, 70's and 80's pop, select rap, film scores, and just about anything else you might imagine. But there is no country. (Had to draw the line somewhere.) My undisputed favorite song of all time is "Mr. Blue Sky" by the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). This song is my soul.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was born. I don't remember it, but I still think it's pretty incredible.

Unbridled enthusiasm for the universe and all its awesome inhabitants.
