Hi! I’m Josh and I live in Madrid but I’m originally from the Philippines. I teach at a primary school, but outside work, I’m a language enthusiast and part-time explorer <3 . I speak English, Filipino, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and I’m currently learning German. I love all things creative (films, series, music, photography).

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a mix of pop, R&B, and world music, and I’m always curious to discover new artists. Lately, I’ve been watching Game of Thrones (a bit late to the party, I know, but loving it!). I like films and series that are creative, moving, or just fun to watch. For books, I enjoy reading about culture, travel, and languages—right now I’m reading a French novel by Amélie Nothomb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I’ve done was moving to Spain on my own three years ago. It was both exciting and terrifying, but it opened up my life to so many adventures, friendships, and new opportunities.

I enjoy sharing languages, stories from my travels, and little pieces of my culture, like Filipino food or fun traditions. I’d love to learn about your culture, your favorite local spots, or even a new skill or recipe.

I can share good conversation, stories from my travels, and lots of laughs! I love cooking Filipino dishes and would be happy to introduce hosts to my country’s food and culture. I can also help with language practice
