Hi,

I'm a 54 year old Kiwi (New Zealander) moving back to Melbourne, Australia. I work in the food industry. I love travel and history and combine the 2 whenever I can. I can speak some French and German - I mean I can get by but cannot sustain a philosophical discourse ;) Due to a change in circumstances, I am not always available to host again once I settle down except for weekends. I have a cat so if you are allergic, then I’m probably not the right host

To those who are new to CS - it’s a mutual exchange and not a free hotel service so please don’t abuse the hospitality. If you support Putin, Netanyahu, Trump, Xi, Modi etc then I’m probably not the host for you

I think you meet the real people of a country this way. Hotels are so impersonal

Went to Iran in 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2023/2024 - fascinating place. Not dangerous like the lying media lets you believe. Been interesting to see how’s it’s changed over the years
