Overview
About Me
Hi there! We’re a British couple currently travelling through Asia on a long-term adventure. I’m Josh, and my wife is Clem – we’re both curious, creative, and always up for a good story, whether it’s around a dinner table or exploring a new city.
We love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and sharing our own experiences. We’ve both worked in education and creative fields, and we enjoy meaningful conversations, local food, music, and finding beauty in the everyday. We’re respectful, clean, and easy-going guests who are happy to contribute however we can – whether that’s helping cook, share a laugh, or swap travel tips.
Couchsurfing is something we’re really excited about – not just as a way to stay somewhere, but as a chance to connect with people we wouldn’t meet otherwise. We’re looking forward to building memories, friendships, and hopefully giving back to this community as both guests and, one day, hosts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We don’t just want to be tourists. The people are the real culture and meeting a variety of people has always been a joint passion in our relationship.
Interests
We are making the most of our time away from England for now. We always love to dance and be around music when possible. Good food is also a priority- but that can be anything from classy to home cooked.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m super eclectic but we both share a love for musicals, and Leon Bridges.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We lived in Kenya for 5 months in a nature conservancy!
Teach, Learn, Share
Clem is a qualified and experienced teacher. Specialising in early years. I have a background in sales and marketing but we are both interested in performing arts.
We love to meet people and learn new things and are very happy to get involved however we can. Both of us can cook (I think I have more practice but Clem has more flair)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Language and culture exchange. Good conversation and a laugh, help with cooking and household tasks. The chance for an adventure.
