Before moving to Philly to work as a union organizer, I lived with nuns in a cathedral and got kicked out for my involvement in anti-Zionist divestment campaigns for Palestinian liberation. In the summer of 2019, I volunteered with a little house of prayer in Amsterdam, bikepacked through The Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland with a friend, and then studied with a monastic community in France.
