About Me
♦ ♦ ♦ Hosting ♦ ♦ ♦
I have a spare room available near the centre of Manchester, to host people from 7th July - 15th July :)
Whats'up people! - ¡Hola todos!
I live in Manchester, England, studying my final year of Economics at university. I'm also a freelance consultant for a Psychology company.
I'm a half English, half Spanish gentleman, who's travelling across Spain for the summer!
I'm taking the summer out to learn to speak conversational Spanish and want to broaden my horizons by meeting some cool, outgoing and equally as enthusiastic people as myself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard from lots of people that it's the best way to travel.
You not only meet locals, you discover real culture, hidden and best spots which tourists would never discover without a local host!
Likeminded people!
If you host people, you're open and trusting enough to have someone in your house, I feel like those people are the best because they always share more than just their home and time!
♦ ♦ ♦ What I'm NOT couchsurfing for: ♦ ♦ ♦
- To use hosts for a place to stay
- To have hosts subsidise my meals, travel, expenses or lift a FINGER for me (I want to make their life as easy and as enjoyable as possible during my stay)
- To go off and do my own thing and use your place (unless you're working or really busy, I'd like to be able to get to know you)

Teach, Learn, Share
I plan to undertake a career in International Development and if current affairs, politics, economics and international relations interests you, let's talk.
I believe that the world is an increasingly complex place, with increasingly challenging problems to solve, so I'd like to help make a lasting impression on this earth during my short stay.
Problems that currently interest me / I want to know more about:
- Western and white perceptions on Africa vs the reality
- Aid given vs trade taken
- Colonial history and degradation of national dignities
- International relations between countries and institutions
- Power distributions within society
- Sustainable practice and development
- Uniting Africa
- China's rapid growth, how it achieved it and how it will maintain it
I believe personal development is one of the most important things you can embark on, therefore I have loads of tips and tricks to make your mind healthier and more productive.
What I Can Share with Hosts
♦ Mediation:
I'd love to share and spread meditation practice and considerations with others.
Why? Because we all need more mindfulness, calm and how to better understand our minds.
♦ Cooking:
I'd love to cook for you and share recipes! Simple, complex, cheap, expensive, anything, I've cooked quite a lot for my age.
♦ Stories/Life lessons/ Knowledge/ Experience:
I've travelled a bit, read a little, learned a lot, failed a lot and these have resulted in some great stories to share!
♦♦♦ Finalmente ♦♦♦
I try and reply to messages within 24 hours and will ALWAYS tell hosts of my plans and if they change.
I really look forward to meeting you, whoever you are!
