About Me

well i’m josh. i like to drift about from place to place.
i’m quiet mostly, i like to keep things simple and peaceful. i value courtesy, aknowlegdment and respect for each other. i’ve been lucky to learn that we are all connected, one big family. you, me, the birds, bees & all the trees. i’m not very interested in material wealth and believe the thing that makes someone rich is if they have a lot of what they truly love around them, whatever that may be. i do enjoy things of good quality, every thing has quality and is unique in some way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

there is so much beauty in the world, in so many different forms. i want to experience as much as i can in my time, but society makes it difficult without much money in your pockets. the notion of people opening up their homes to share shelter with people they’ve never met is one of those beautiful things i hope to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

i am musically minded and just love music i can feel that someone has put their soul in to.
a book i really enjoyed was “His Dark Materials” by phillip pullman
another is “The Prophet” by khalil gibran

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

my best friend and i, growing up in sydney, found ourselves stuck in a pattern that wasn’t allowing us to be happy and/or make others really happy. meditation made its way to us, and allowed us to start trusting in the uncertainty of life. we decided to try something new and hit the road. along the way we found “wwoofing” a way to exchange good energy for people in their organic gardens/farms. in return they would feed us some of the most incredible food i ever experienced and some really cool places to rest at, in their homes. we did this all along the east coast of Aus, but mostly around byron bay & cairns

Teach, Learn, Share

we all have the ability to become the best version of ourselves & that is my aim this life, to throw away any limitations and go further than i thought i could before. im just trying to grow to be a happy person and plant good seeds in the good earth, with good people alongside me, hopefully you’ll be one of them and we can share our lessons and ideas of how to make the world a better place.
