I grew up in a small-ish town just outside of Vancouver, Canada and at the age of 20 decided to head to the University of Victoria for Electrical Engineering. While there I saved a chunk of money from a couple coop jobs so that when I graduated I could fly off to some far away place and travel before real life took hold and I would have to become an adult. I graduated in August 2015 and now am embarking on my journey. While I'm out in the world I am looking to learn all I can about different foods, languages and general culture as I can.

I have lived as a student for the last half decade, I am not one who needs or wants 5 star hotels. I also am travelling solo which means meeting people is going to be a big part of my trip. Couch surfing seemed like the best and most interesting option for accommodation for myself. I'm excited to meet new cool people as lame as that statement sounds.
