I love travelling, trying new things and meeting new friends! I especially love learning languages, and I want to spend at least a few years of my life living in different countries! I love travelling because it opens my eyes to different ways of life, and because I think the natural world is just so staggeringly beautiful!

My hometown normally gets a bad rap and a lot of travellers pass it by, but if you come to Canberra I'll do my best to help you see how beautiful it really is :) in a lot of ways travelling is a skill, and the best travellers can find fascination and inspiration wherever they go...

Being welcomed in to someone's home and spending time with them while you're travelling can be a really profound and beautiful experience that would be impossible to have if you were just staying in a hostel, although hostels come with their own rewards. Locals can give you fresh, original insights in to the area and can even put you in touch with more friends living in different places, helping spread the love!

Ultimately I guess the hostel business is based on meeting a demand for safe/secure living spaces while travelling - it's nice to think that we can trust each other enough to welcome each other in to our homes instead, without the need for money changing hands. There's no need for hostels - there are already plenty of places to stay while travelling cause we have each other!

兴趣

I love to sing all the time and I play the guitar (although I'm not that good yet!), salsa dancing (or just dancing like an idiot), reading, cycling, swimming, and pretty much everything! Always willing to try my hand at new hobbies. I also love watching Australian Football League or Tennis, and just hanging out with friends and fam!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

On December 31st 2016 I finished a solo cycling trip around Taiwan where I cycled just over 1000KM in two weeks! I also studied in Hangzhou in mainland China for a year and a half, and while I was there I got to visit Tibet! Come hang out and let's swap some stories :)
