About Me
Born in Germany, to German/American Parents. Moved to England when I was 3 and have grown up there since, graduating from the University of Bath this past summer with a degree in International Management. I then spent the summer biking/hiking/camping around Norway/France/Austria/Eastern Europe before working in San Francisco for a few months. Just trying to justify the "International" aspect of my degree...
The next months I'll be travelling through the US/Canada with my skis in tow and hope to discover awesome cities, towns, mountains, people and maybe a bear or two along my way. The current plan is to go powder hunting in British Columbia before making the trek up to Alaska end of March to ski the steep spines I've only seen in the movies and my dreams! After that, who knows where I'll end up. Maybe you can give me suggestions over a beer...
Ill be starting my Masters degree in Climate Change, Management and Finance at Imperial College, London in September...unless you can persuade me that there's no other place to be except your home town. Maybe then I'll scratch all plans and get house hunting ;)
I am (self proclaimed) uncomplicated, clean, social (but not the wildest party animal). Backcountry skiing is one of my biggest passions along with almost any other outdoor sport (road/mountain biking, trail running, hiking). There's almost no point during the day where I don't want to be listening to music (play some guitar, used to play violin and piano). If there's a live gig on in the area...awesome..
Although new to CS, I've lived in several student accommodations so I know what's needed to keep everyone sane under one roof. Not that I'm comparing your home to student accommodation - I'll wear plastic bags over my shoes if you so wish. Your house your rules :)
