ABOUT ME

Hi my names Josh
I am currently situated in Cullowhee, North Carolina where I am studying Parks and Recreation Management as part of my exchange to the United States.
I had many years studying Outdoor Education in a variety of disciplines, I love meeting new people and sharing my stories and experiences with them, and enjoy listening to theirs.
Sports are a crucial part if my life be it Outdoors, Martial arts, Adventure sports or just climbing some mountains enjoying every moment of it.
I'm very interested in traveling and love to here peoples stories of far flung places that changed there views of life.
My home is in Connemara on the west coast of Ireland where I spend most of my time, It has amazing scenery with rocky mountains, lakes and rivers. It is well known by the American tourists and is a place for the rest of the country to visit and relax.
I love traveling and sharing experiences with new people and hope to do a lot of traveling when college is over.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am in college for two years. In this time i want to host all sorts of people and make some new international friends. When I am finished college I'm going to start traveling and hope people will help me out also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just joined couch surfing so I have no experience what so ever but from what I have heard its can become some of the best times of your life.

Outdoor sports: surfing, rock climbing, sailing, white-water kayaking, sea kayaking, windsurfing, hiking, what ever gets me up and going.
Traveling: I hope to explore most of the world and see what it has to offer, on the way I would like to meet new friends and do some amazing things along the way.
Locals: I love to go off the tourist path and see what the locals enjoy, and I like to show people the interesting history and sites of where I live also.

I love all sorts of music any genre from Reggae and Indie, to Heavy Metal and Dubstep.
My Ipod is completely full of of music and i bring it everywhere with me.
Into the wild is a great movie, sports movies like the billabong odyssey and the art of flight make me want to do more with my life and get out there.
