Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I came to the great state of Kentucky in 2007 to study social work and run track and field at the University of Kentucky. After 5 years on the team, I graduated with my bachelor's in social work and eventually my master's degree in social work. I'm passionate about our community and have been involved in many community initiatives, volunteer efforts, and other activities aimed at contributing the best way I can to causes I care deeply about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing combines two of my favorite things: meeting new people and sharing with others! I figure I am very fortunate to have shelter as many people across the world do not so the least I can do is share it with others as they travel.

Even if I was a millionaire I'd rather make new friends and stay on their couches than waste money on some hotel!
