I am an aspiring world traveler, a difficult task to accomplish because of the fact that a majority of my entire life was spent in my home state of Georgia with barely any ventures outside of it and with a family, though I love them and am happy with who I became because of them, almost never made travel seem feasible.

But despite this I always had a deep part of me that wanted to see the world and in May of 2017 I was finally able to start this dream with my trip to The Czech Republic, a truly life changing experience that filled me with such wanderlust, my past traveling desires seemed small by comparison.

The most recent update in my life is that I've finally moved away from my home state of Georgia to live with my brother in Dallas until I can save up money and move to Austin.

To explore the world, meet amazing people, and save money doing it. If I can meet cool Couchsurfers/Hosts (a hotel doesn’t offer this) and save money, why not?

Couchsurfing experience:
In 2018 I used Couchsurfing for the first time in New York City and then in Austin after a few years of hearing about it and what can I say, it's literally far and away the BEST experience I've ever had using the internet. It's reinvigorated my belief in the kindness and selflessness of people as well as shown me that there really are people out in the world like me: dreamers, seekers, independent thinkers, open minded people etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Backpacked Europe (small towns and big cities) with photography gear for a month and 12 days. As someone who grew up in a family where no one is very interested in travel, and because of this never having the opportunity to go anywhere that didn't touch my home state until I was 20, this is an accomplishment I'm very proud of.
