Hey Everyone,

I'm Josh from Toronto, Canada. I'm an Assistant Director for movies and tv shows and I love traveling. I've been to the States, Jamaica, Germany and the Czech Republic.

My next trip with be South Korea in 2016 for 2 months and I can't wait to go. I will be mainly staying in Seoul, Busan, Ulsan and Jeju Island.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always stayed in hotels but when I do this I feel like I lose out on the experience of meeting new people. I want to travel to experience new things and meet new people. Life is about experiencing new things and this is a great way to do it.

Interests

- I'm interested in filmmaking (started in high school and now I work in the field).
- Love working on my photography and would love to be able to visit new spots wherever I go.
- Looking to do a bunch of hiking when I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not that picky when it comes to music and will listen to anything.

When it comes to movies, I prefer comedies, action and dramas. Horror movies just don't seem to interest me. Thrillers and documentaries are my favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my second year of college we had to make documentaries and the crew I was on did it on the issues that soldiers with PTSD deal with and what our government is doing for them.

The documentary ended up being accepted and screened at the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival, the largest documentary film festival in North America. I was really proud of what we achieved.
