Overview
About Me
I’m eager to see the world and meet knew people, and can’t wait to have my perspective transformed through intercultural exchange and learning. I’m a student studying arts/law in Sydney, Australia and I’m incredibly excited to make new friends and share in new experiences. I learned to speak French in high school and have done some traveling in Europe, but am keen to more acutely home my sense of internationalism as I seek to understand people across increasingly wide cultural divides. I’m an optimist and an idealist and I can’t wait to crack open the world with you and see what it has to offer 🌞

Music, Movies, and Books
Katherine Boo’s Behind the Beautiful Forevers (a novel about impoverished living in Mumbai) was probably more transformative on my personal worldview than an other book I’ve read. I also recently finished Lincoln in the Bardo and Virginia Wolf’s To the Lighthouse - both of which were gorgeously written and I cannot commend highly enough! I’m also something of a low-key film nerd - I love 90s cult classics such as Being John Malkovich and Pulp Fiction and have tried to expand my horizons by exploring more European and Latin American film recently (Roma was my favourite film of 2018 closely followed by The Favourite). I’ve also got a super diverse taste in music and would be thrilled to share my Spotify playlists with you - from Daniel Caesar to Bon Iver and everything in between (including anything from the early 2000s), I’m super keen to hear new music even through in a few contemporary Australian bangers for your amusement 😅😊
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While traveling with my twin brother in the Northern Territory of Australia (the TRUE outback) we were unable to continue driving when an unforeseen monsoon set in a muddied the dirt road practically out of existence. We found a secluded cavern which quickly began to fill with water in the rain and went swimming under a newly-flowing water fall as the lightning cracked overhead as laughed as we entertained wild notions of upstream-swimming crocodiles who would surely come for us in our novel makeshift abode😅 ☺️
