CURRENT MISSION

Our current mission is to get as much traveling as we can done now before settling down. We want to meet new people from all walks of life to help us learn more about different backgrounds.

ABOUT ME

We are an adventurous, friendly couple excited to experience new things together. We have been together for 7 years and are very grateful to have someone in our lives with similar interests. We have traveled to many places close to home, but are looking forward to exploring parts of the East Coast and Southern US.

Josh-- Has lived in Southern California for most of his life and is ready to explore other areas and learn more about the US and other countries. He loves meeting new people and is very open to making new friends and trying new things.

Angel-- Is very eager to travel as much as she can before settling down with a family. She loves trying new things and meeting new people. She is very open minded and eager to explore different cities in the US and all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is to be open minded and willing to try anything. We believe in having fun and making the most out of the short time we have on Earth. We believe in trying new things to avoid monotony and boredom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are new to CS, but eager to start participating. We are not able to host people in our home, but are looking forward to having people contact us to meet up for coffee or sight seeing in San Diego.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not participated in CS yet, but have a friend who has hosted people and stayed with people that was able to answer a lot of the questions that we had.

Interests

We love going to baseball and football games as well as watching games on tv. It is our goal to visit as many Baseball parks as we can (hopefully all of them by the time we are done).

We also love trying new restaurants and are pretty adventurous when it comes to trying new foods.

We love the outdoors and are very interested in keeping a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym. We like hiking and are willing to give mountain biking a try.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like all types of movies and music. Joshua is not really much of a book reader, but being a literature major, Angel spends most of her free time reading books. She loves everything from the classics to historical fiction and Chick Lit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have been to Hawaii. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The highlight of the trip was waking up very early to watch the sun rise above the ocean.

We also took a couple of impromptu day trips to watch football games. We drove from Long Beach to San Francisco overnight to watch our hometown Chargers pummel the 49ers. We also took a last minute road trip to Phoenix to watch the Cardinals beat the Packers in the playoffs. Last minute trips are our favorite kind of trips!
