I believe in the equality of all humans etc. i'm a modernist rather than a post-modernist.
I don't believe in awkward situations, only funny ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have a house mate who has been hosting CS's for a while (so i've sort of been hosting them as well): best one was when two very nice people from Colorado came around- really easy to get along with, had a great time just chatting with them.
I also stayed with two very nice people in Germany. Bring on more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like jazz and especially free jazz, the blues, free improv, classical, electronic (including dance), the avant garde- however i can get along with any music really (its only pressure waves after all!). I like big long books (james joyce, marx) and poetry (ezra pound et al.). Also, I like most movies however bad/good, but obviously the good ones are the ones i enjoy the most (the seventh seal, jaws 4)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiked to Copenhagen (from Liverpool- UK) to protest against climate change for that climate conference they had- didn't work too well, but definitely a great experience!

Travelled/ Worked round Germany- best time of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about chemistry and science (i am a student of chemistry). i read a lot so can teach people about literature and poetry (usually modernist). i like paintings and art and can pass on some basic stuff about art. Also i am a dedicate student of music and know some stuff here as well: I am also a musician: play the drums and woodwind instruments.

Would like to learn anything really (especially traditional rhythms or mental electronics)

would like to learn about everything if that is possible- its all connected really!
