About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Change the world, but change myself first.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty chilled and laid back guy, who enjoys music and exploring the world. I pretty much work to make money to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

If you are alive, you are blessed.

Interests

I am involved in a bunch of non-profits, and enjoy the impact on the world that I can have, one small change at a time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: All over the place. From Stephen King to Stephenie Meyer to Leo Tolstoy to to self-help to non-fiction.
Movies: From typical Action/Adventure and Comedy flicks to stuff you'll see at Tara or Film Festivals.
TV: Curb Your Enthusiasm , Modern Family, Arrested Development. Perhaps a good HBO/Showtime show for the first season, but by the second season, it is too predictable and usually boring. On the other hand, I just finished the second season of Downton Abbey and really enjoyed it. Basketball and Football in season, with a cold beer.
Music: All over the place. Everything from Bob Dylan to Ke$ha on the Rock spectrum. Bluegrass, Jazz, real country music (aka Honky-tonk), and classical. I love music. Really love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in a ramshackle hut made out of wooden pallets where a family was squatting in Costa Rica, a road side restaurant in Jamaica with the best lamb stew I have ever tasted, by the Pacific Ocean in Mexico where I had the opportunity to release newly hatched baby sea turtles back into the water, cruising the streets of Havana in a 1957 Ford Convertible, and relaxing on my sofa at home with a close friend and a glass of wine.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a recruiter, I know all about how to really get a job, and how not to, and am happy to share the knowledge over a beer!
