About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore new cultures!

ABOUT ME

I've never been good at making a short but sweet description of myself, so I'm going to do a quick list of words that I feel might sum me up!
Music, reading (not as much as I'd like to!), travels, food, violins, clarinets, cellos, all forms of music!, new music, cultural experiences.

Hope that works!

PHILOSOPHY

I have a fairly deep outlook on life, and would rather save this for a nice conversation over a drink.

Sincerity, respect, and genuine reverence for what is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new to this, a fellow traveler in a hostel pointed me in this direction and I'm really excited to begin! I am currently traveling, but will definitely be opening up my couch once I am settled back at home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Can't wait to have something to put here!

Music, Movies, and Books

Kurt Vonnegut!

Andrew Bird, Radiohead, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Battles, Don Caballero

David Lynch, Christopher Nolan can be pretty awesome.. hm... I need to broaden my cinematic horizons!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So my all time most exciting experience was being a passenger on the first commercial cruise ship to sink since the Titanic! In 2007 I was on the MS Sea Diamond which ran aground just off the coast of Santorini. Check the wikipedia page for the Sea Diamond!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm no professional teacher by ANY means (lol) but I would love to take a shot at sharing my input on increasing/learning musical ability. At the very least it would be a nice conversation!
