ABOUT ME

One sentence? Im an adrenaline seeking, adventurer. Not as much as I would like to be of course, (theres this thing called money that always seems to get in the way.) Im always trying to top myself and do something more exciting and go somewhere new. I've been told I'm always smiling and I live to laugh. I think I've also been called a dork, a pyro, crazy, wild, fun, thoughtful, sarcastic, "just like my dad," never satisfied, and on countless, (I do mean countless,) occasions: "You move to fast. Slow down!" If nothing else, I agree with the last one.
I think I've also been called anorexic once or twice as well (Like I said I move fast!) Oh yeah , "weird," I get that an awful lot too.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is uncertain, don't waste it. Make today matter because theres that one or two moments in life that will truly change you, for better or worse, you will never be the same. Today could be it will you miss it?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host depending on schedule, as mine is pretty sporadic. I'm always up for a trip, (schedule permitting) so adding to the camaraderie is another way.

Engaging. Life is engaging. Its as engaging as you make it. I try to make it more so than I did last time. I'm interested in every thing from skiing (as often as I can) and snowboarding (did it once and snapped my wrist but would do again for sure), to diving (certified just over a year now) and as extreme as fireworks building (No story necessary. Everyone loves fireworks.). I also tinker with electronics (robotics are "dorky" but oh so much fun), dabble in a bit of car audio, and automotive blah. I'm also and avid outdoors enthusiast, mariner, survivalist, and amateur environmentalist. I'm also teaching myself (on a daily basis) how to sail, and become a better person. (Something I strive to be. Theres always room for improvement I remind myself everyday unfortunately.) I also like learning, (not that I've ever heard someone say they hated it.), a lot. Its what really makes my life fulfilling; knowing at the end of the day that I know more than when I woke up. (Yep definitely interested in that.)

How do I spend my time? This is a matter of passion and not interest (as insanely corny as that sounds.) I LOVE sound. Period. (Like audio sound.) Its what I live for (ironically enough its what I live off of as well). I record audio for a living. Reality TV, films, sound effects, under water, I do it all (all the time.) While I pay my bills working for TV, I spend the rest of my waking hours on the next project (typically a new sound effect or some new opportunity to travel some where and record something unique and interesting.

I enjoy pretty much everything as far as books and media go. I do however prefer non-fiction books with some notable exceptions. (I know, boring, see the section referencing "dork")

Most amazing / life altering:
I was able to assist in the rescue of 8 Haitian refugees from a remote island and airlift them to safety.
