CURRENT MISSION

I am working on seeing as many places in the world as possible, and learning as much as I can about cultures that differ from my own.

ABOUT ME

I love travel, the outdoors (specifically hiking/camping, snowboarding), photography, and writing. My real love for travel started in 2006 when I was in a band and for the first time ever, hopped in a van with my friends, no money, and little plans to head a few thousand miles from Philly to Florida and back, playing music along the way. I recently quit a job as an environmental engineer in order to have the flexibility that I need to travel. I plan on traveling extensively in Morocco, Turkey, Poland, Switzerland, the US, Mexico, Central America, and South America starting in April 2015.

PHILOSOPHY

Those that travel tend to be the most wise and open minded. Travel is the best way to learn. Spending time outdoors is the best way to learn about yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love showing people around Philadelphia when they are here. It is always interesting to spend time with people from different parts of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had bands and friends from all over the world sleeping on my floors and have been traveling and sleeping on others for a long time. I haven't had much experience with this website yet, but plan on using it more for travel this spring and summer.
