About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am traveling the world for the next 15 months. Life is Awesome, I hope to smile and meet amazing communities that live a life revolved around happiness, feasting, and enjoy our time on this beautiful planet!

ABOUT ME

I am one happy camper. I practice yoga daily, and am traveling the world to study Yoga, and at the same time meet and embrace awesome local communities, eat delicious food, and laugh so hard I can't breath 8-) I have been a professional Chef for ten years and have cooked for multitudes of high volume and high-end fine dining establishments in California. I am taking a break from the Culinary Arts and working 50 plus hours a week, to study yoga, study myself, read, relax, embrace communities, volunteer my time with people in need, and smile every second while I am at it!

PHILOSOPHY

"Live and love, love to live"
"Live everyday as if it were your last"
"You only have 100 years to live"
"The past is history, the future a mystery, but today is a gift, that is why it is called the Present"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I start my days with Yoga. I set intentions for the planet that revolve around loving kindness for my friends and family. I drink Coffee in the morning, and eat healthy breakfasts, usually awesome smoothies to start the day. That's about all I have on the agenda for the next 15 months, as I am traveling, first part being three months in Thailand, I will find inspiration from people that I meet and help build relationships with to find out where I am heading to next!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experiences yet. I do have a friend that works for Couchsurfing, and just signed a year long lease for only $1,200.00 bucks for a property in Bali! I want to build a profile that will help me meet awesome people that have kindred minds, take care of their bodies, enjoy making new friends, exploring new heights, and thinking outside the box! I can't wait to be involved in this community, I am traveling a lot by myself, and hope couch surfing can help me make new awesome traveling friends

Interests

Yoga every day, messing around with new inversions, flowing like the wind, my recent favorite quote about yoga from Baron Baptiste is,"I enjoy teaching and practicing Vinyasa Flow. Life is not linear. Life is Organic, let it flow. That is why I practice Vinyasa, my body feels and tell me what it needs, and my heart, mind, body, and soul follow." FOOD, I love food all kinds, mostly pescatarian, I do enjoy local sustainable and Organic when possible, but know that these trends are taking time for people to truly respect and utilize in our daily lives! Meeting new people, exploring new areas, taking photos, writing, smiling, rock climbing, riding bikes, floating on boats, catching fish, scuba diving, all sorts of awesome things we are privileged to do in this world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies.. not so much, documentaries, clips of friends doing awesome things, I haven't been to a movie theater in a long time. I also never watch TV, there is just so many awesome things out their to do, and I find Television can be extremely negative.

Music, ALL, I love music, If I could have a solar powered backpack that weighed nothing and blasted good vibes everywhere I went I would, come on Bose make something awesome will ya?

Books, getting back into reading, I am interested in philosophy, anatomy, massage, culinary books, documentaries..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the Narrows in Zion Canyon. Truly an amazing incredible experience walking upstream of a flowing river into a slot canyon that's sides at times rose up to 2,000 feet above in a canyon that at point was only 30 feet wide! I recommended every nature seeking picture loving person to visit!

Teach, Learn, Share

Yoga professionals, artists, photographers, chef's, travelers, entrepreneurs, teachers, so many amazing people, I wish I could learn from all of them!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Malaysia, Spain
