Thanks for taking the time to read my profile... My name is Josh, a thirty something year old traveller who left his homelands over 10 years ago.

I found myself settling the other side of the world in Australia called this country my home for many years.

It's now 2025 and I still find myself semi retiring now from travelling. I'm back in Melbourne and after a motorcycle accident I decided to quit my career as an electrician. Now I'm training as a psychotherapist!

So quite the change considering I was travelling all over Brazil 6 months ago! But I'm here now to introduce people to Melbourne, make friends and go to events!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a community of travellers I've always appreciated. To meet like-minded people and share memories is an amazing opportunity for anybody.

I'm familiar with couch surfing and have had years' experience as a surfer/wwoofer/guest.

My intention is not to use this platform like Tinder or Grindr. Guys please don't hit on me either 😹 it's a compliment but I'm not interested.

I am not a big drinker! Basically sober and not interested in drugs.

My family raised me in the world of spirituality and healing. This world fascinates me and I love chatting to people who share an interest. We can talk about this more later!

I'm obsessed with languages. Teach me your language! I'm a certified teacher and would enjoy helping you with English.

I once used to rebuild vintage bicycles as a hobby, so something else I might be able to help with.
