To get to know the people, cultures, and music that the world has to offer
I recently moved to Rio de Janeiro to work on my masters at the Institutto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano (IPPUR) where I study slum development.
I was a student at Berkeley, where I live in a student co-op and spend my time studying, dancing, cooking, and playing guitar. I love people and am always down for a good conversation, especially one about music. I want to travel the world- but I'm more interested in meeting people than seeing places. I'm a chill guy, and I get along with most people. Mostly, I'm just looking to explore the ends of the earth and the people who inhabit those places.
Love everyone. Don't judge because you have no idea what experiences a person has had that led them to be the way they are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined but I feel that CS is an amazing idea that allows people to discover new places and people.
I have couchsurfed througout various parts of Europe and have also hosted people from all over the world while in Berkeley.
Music, music and music. I play guitar and bass and love to discover new forms of music.
I also can't help but dance whenever there is music playing so if you know of any good night clubs please share. I love, love to dance. Whenever I get the chance I'm on the dancefloor!!!
Music, Movies, and Books
Pulp Ficton, La Haine, Cidade de Deus, comedies.

I LOVE TO DANCE!!!!!!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have always wanted to live in Rio de Janeiro. It had been a childhood dream of mine, and now I finally made it come true. It's actually quite unbelievable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel that I can learn a little something from everyone. I am always interested to hear people's stories and histories. I feel that that is the way you truly get to know some one. A person's past has a great deal to do with the person they are now.
