About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Continuously enjoy the passage of time. I want to be happy and have fun with others. I want to be inspired by the people and world around me, but more importantly, I want to be there for the people in my life. I want to inspire them.
ABOUT ME
Positive. Energetic. Enthusiastic. Always down for a conversation. Passionate. Fun-loving. Friends and family oriented. Trying to see the world. Physically active. Not a coffee person. Favorite foods all start with 'S': Sandwiches, Salads, Soups, Smoothies, Sushi.
Oh yeah, I really love nature and being outside. I care about the environment and try to live a conscientious life. and I love sunshine.
PHILOSOPHY
Not sure about this one. Still searching, I guess. I'm sure it has something to do with enjoyment or happiness.
Maybe, 'do your best to keep yourself and those closest to you happy. if everyone did that, maybe the whole world would be happy.'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting people. Talking. Engaging. Sharing. Hosting (when possible). I'm finishing up school right now and about to head on a trip through western Europe and Scandinavia for a few weeks. I'm hoping to meet some great people along the way and share some memorable experiences. I've found that seeing the world and experiencing many of life's pleasures is more rewarding when shared with others...usually.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I actually haven't yet surfed or hosted. But, I was in Istanbul two years ago and met up with a guy who had been Couchsurfing for more than 2 years in a row. His experiences were so satisfying to listen to. At the time, I hadn't even considered joining the community...I hadn't even heard of it. But that was my first exposure to the concept and it totally interested me. Glad that I've now gotten the chance to join myself. I wish I could remember that guys name. Hopefully our paths will cross again.
Interests
Running. Soccer. Design. Simplicity. People. Friends. Family. Vivid Colors. Culture.
Probably should add 'conversations' to that list. I've been finding, this year especially, that I'm quite motivated and engaged by conversations. It's like every new person you sit down with has a story to tell. You just need to be patient and open enough to listen and learn.
Also, as far as running is concerned, I've been told that going out for a run is actually a great way to explore a city, especially if you have limited time there. I haven't really explored this strategy yet, but think it could be interesting.

I recently went heli-skiing. took a helicopter up to the top of an untouched mountain in central sweden after 40 cm of fresh powdery snow had fallen. it was a breathtaking view and the snow was wonderful.
