About Me

Hello! My name is Pastor Joshua, originally from Tanzania and currently traveling between countries for ministry, learning, and cultural exchange. I am a friendly, respectful, and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people, sharing experiences, and learning from different cultures.

I serve as a Christian Pastor, but I also love connecting with people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and lifestyles. I believe in kindness, peace, and living positively with everyone.

I enjoy:
• Good conversations
• Exploring new cities
• Learning languages
• Music, especially worship and live instruments
• Helping people wherever I can

I am clean, organized, and always respectful of house rules. I love creating genuine friendships, sharing stories, and leaving a positive impact wherever I go.

Looking forward to meeting amazing people around the world. 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I truly enjoy meeting new people, learning from different cultures, and building meaningful connections around the world. As someone who travels often for ministry, leadership work, and music, I believe the best part of any journey is the people you meet.

Couchsurfing gives me the chance to share positive experiences, good conversations, and mutual respect with others. I appreciate genuine hospitality, simplicity, and the opportunity to connect beyond the usual tourist experiences. I also like exchanging ideas, stories, and inspiration with people from different backgrounds.

Most of all, I believe the world becomes smaller and friendlier when we open our homes and hearts to each other. That’s the spirit that brings me to Couchsurfing.

Interests

I have a wide range of interests that reflect who I am and the life I live. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and learning from different cultures. Because of my work in ministry, I’m also passionate about community service, leadership development, and Gospel outreach.

Creatively, I have a deep love for music—from playing instruments to studio production and sound engineering. I enjoy discovering new sounds, collaborating with other musicians, and exploring how music connects people.

I’m also interested in books, documentaries, and films that teach, inspire, or open the mind to new ideas. I enjoy conversations about history, faith, culture, and personal growth.

Overall, I love anything that helps me learn, connect, and grow—spiritually, creatively, and culturally.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Music is a big part of my life—I own a recording studio, play several instruments, and love creating sounds that inspire and uplift. I enjoy everything from worship and gospel to smooth jazz and African rhythms. Music is my safe space and my creative world.

Movies:
I enjoy movies that teach something meaningful—true stories, leadership films, and inspiring documentaries. But I also appreciate light movies that help me relax after a long day in the studio or after studying.

Books:
As a second-year PhD student in Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership, I read a lot of books on leadership, purpose, spirituality, and personal growth. I enjoy authors who challenge the mind and strengthen character. I also love exploring books about culture, creativity, and human behavior.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I’ve done is helping people rebuild their lives through encouragement, prayer, and support. Seeing someone find hope again is my greatest achievement.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I love teaching what I know—whether it’s music (studio work, instruments, sound production), life skills, leadership principles, or anything related to ministry. I enjoy helping people grow and discover their potential.

Learn:
I’m always open to learning new cultures, lifestyles, languages, and creative skills. Every person I meet has something unique to teach, and I value that. I especially enjoy learning about travel experiences, new ideas, and different ways of seeing life.

Share:
I enjoy sharing good conversations, music, encouragement, and positive energy. I believe in uplifting people wherever I go—through stories, experiences, and kindness. I also love sharing cultural insights from Tanzania and my travels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy sharing meaningful parts of my life and culture with the people I meet. I come from the Barbaig/Datooga community of Tanzania—one of the oldest tribes with a rich tradition, deep respect for community, and a beautiful history. I love telling stories about our culture, values, and way of life.

I also share from my background as a pastor and Gospel minister, including experiences from Gospel Crusades, community outreach, and my journey of serving people across different regions. For those interested in creativity, I’m happy to share what I know about music, studio work, sound production, and playing musical instruments.

Above all, I enjoy good conversations, cultural exchange, and learning from others. Whether it’s music, faith, travel stories, leadership, or simply everyday life, I’m always open to sharing whatever will make the experience meaningful for both of us.
