To be able to experience other cultures in a more personal way than possible at traditional lodging. And to make many new friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love almost all kinds of music, but especially alternative. Some of my favorite bands are Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, the Gorillaz, Alt-J, Daughter, Of Monsters and Men, and X Ambassadors. I'm also really into Jazzy electronic like Big Gigantic or Gramatik.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
My favorite experience is a two week backcountry canoeing trip I did with 8 other guys in the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota. Half of the time we did trail repairs in an area that was difficult for the park service to get to, and the second half we explored over a hundred miles of water.

My Interests
Besides traveling I love to spend time in the outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, camping, I'm down for anything. my hobbies also include the visual arts. I experiment in photography, graphic design, painting, drawing and sculpting.
