I've moved around quite a bit in my life. The biggest chunks of time have been growing up on LI and the last twenty years in NC. I came to Portland about two months ago and I love the area. Some snags have come up in the move , however, and that's what brings me here (see below. I enjoy reading, hiking, talking on all manner of subjects, and generally getting to know good and interesting people. If you enjoy comic books, fantasy/sci-fi, eastern philosophy, mythology, or film... we can talk for hours. :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I came to Portland having been told that work and housing would be soon to follow. Unfortunately, some things fell through and -though I have found some contract work- things are just not going smoothly in looking for a place. I have a small group of good friends here, but I have stayed on their couch long enough and it's time to move on. So, here I am just looking for some good hearted and intriguing folks to hang out and crash with.

Stories, cleanliness (yes, I will clean your house... within reason), laughs, smoke if that's what you're into. If not I will keep it away from your home, what little cask I can if needed. Especially for household stuff (e.g. toilet paper, dish soap etc.)
