About Me

ABOUT ME

I live to encounter new experiences every day and take any new occurrence as they come, with little to no preconceived notions. I am a very relaxed fellow that is not hard to get along with. While I am not the most talkative person in the world, I most likely have a little something to say about everything. Travelling and living in new places is truly the only way experience this life to its fullest and I plan on taking full advantage of travelling and life while I have the opportunity.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy through the quotes of others?

"There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don't know." - Donald Rumsfeld

(While Rumsfeld is wordy, I think Socrates was getting at the same thing)
"As for me, all I know is that I know nothing." - Socrates

Practice not-doing, and everything will fall into place. - Tao Te Ching

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No real official couchsurfing experience through the website, however, I have done my share of unofficial surfing through friends in the past. Also, two years ago I was (unknowingly but happily) a cohost to a great couchsurfer party at my place in Ottawa, Canada.

Interests

I am interested in travelling and visiting interesting places (obviously), experiencing new cultures, eating tasty and exotic meals, drinking some fine beverages, and discussing life/pointless events/politics, watching great movies, listening and playing music etc.
